Job Description
The Contract Project Manager will be responsible for managing two concurrent projects aimed at enhancing our inventory management practices and optimizing gross margins through improved cost management within the quote-to-cash process. The ideal candidate will have a Six Sigma Black Belt certification and extensive experience leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing environments. This role requires a strong background in data extraction and analysis, as well as expertise in developing processes and controls to drive sustainable improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage two key projects: o Improvement of inventory management practices throughout the quote-to-cash process. o Optimization of gross margin through enhanced cost management within the same quote-to cash processes. • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and objectives are met on time and within budget. • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify process inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions. • Extract, analyze, and interpret data to inform project decisions and measure progress against key performance indicators. • Develop and implement process controls to ensure sustained improvements in inventory and cost management. • Prepare and present regular project status updates to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations. • Foster collaboration and communication across departments, including supply chain, finance, sales, and operations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Six Sigma Black Belt certification required. • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on inventory and cost management. • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving process improvement initiatives. • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to support project objectives. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Duration: 1 year • Location: On-site at our Oregon, IL manufacturing facility
