Conducted and authored over 200 electronic failure analysis investigations on aircraft, spacecraft, and ground based electronics; including mishap/accident investigations for the US Air Force, Navy, Army, NASA and NTSB. Specific expertise in setting up and managing electronic failure and materials analysis laboratories. Successfully planned, organized and managed multi-million dollar basic and applied research and development programs in the areas of mishap handbook development, aerospace wire insulations, life prediction for aging wire systems, conductive polymer materials, connector materials, avionic corrosion, and reliability of integrated circuits. Conducted critical design, pre-production, and manufacturing reviews on major weapon systems and other large complex systems.
